Everything is created in heat. In the insufferable exhaustion of the pressure of atoms moving faster and faster, colliding, exploding, releasing.

So is it creation or destruction? Can something be created from nothing? Is there ever really nothing?

A fire requires energy to burn. To create light and heat. So we most stoke the flame with everything we wish to incinerate. Dance it out, fuck it through, sweat it to death.

White to red to black. Charred and parched, one can suddenly see what’s important, and hone their focus on a singular goal. Survival.

We’ve forgotten how to sweat, and do everything possible to prevent it. Forgotten how to create anything. Do we even want to survive?
